Exploding heads, torso-bursting and computer-generated aliens in heat: it's all here in Peter Medak's science-fiction romp, which continues Roger Donaldson's 1995 half-human/half-alien DNA experiment as a sex rampage saga. Far gorier and camper than the original, this lascivious popcorn treat is a spectacularly lunatic shocker that revels in soft-core sleaze and grisly death. It piles up the unintentional laughs alongside the bloodied victims, allowing the actors to coast through the mayhem without bringing an iota of credibility to the terminally daft scenario. It's an absolute hoot.

Having just returned from a mission to Mars, Commander Ross isn't exactly himself. He's slowly becoming a terrifying alien entity with one goal -- to procreate with human women! When countless women suffer gruesome deaths after bearing half-alien offspring, scientist Laura Baker and hired assassin Press Lennox use Eve, a more tempered alien clone, to find Ross and his brood. Before long Eve escapes to mate with Ross.
