This is a clumsy sequel to a film that itself was something of a shambles. At least the original had Lee Marvin heading the cast; here we're left with just stone-faced Chuck Norris, whose neck muscles do most of the acting. Where the original explored the theme of political terrorism (albeit with zero subtlety), the follow-up has Norris leading his anonymous bull-necked marines against the drug cartels of Colombia. Chuck's brother Aaron directs, artlessly serving up the requisite braindead action scenes. The movie is dedicated to the five people who died in a helicopter crash during shooting in the Philippines; sadly, it's not much of an epitaph.

When DEA agents are taken captive by a ruthless South American kingpin, the Delta Force is reunited to rescue them in this sequel to the 1986 film.
