Overview:
A rugged frontiersman travels to Texas with his son to start a new life. Along the way, he gets drawn into a conflict with a cruel saloon owner, acquires an indentured servant and catches the eye of a schoolteacher who tries to persuade him to settle down. Western, directed by and starring Burt Lancaster. With Diana Lynn, John Carradine and Walter Matthau in his film debut.
