Overview:
A group of teenage girls in 17th-century Massachusetts tell tall tales of witchcraft, prompting the launch of a massive investigation from which no one is safe. Daniel Day-Lewis, Winona Ryder and Joan Allen star in this big-screen version of Arthur Miller's famous stage play, a thinly veiled allegory of the infamous McCarthy anti-communist hearings of the 1950s.
