Doris Day co-stars with Cary Grant in this charming if dated romantic comedy. The movie only works if you accept the premise that Day won't sleep with Grant, which might have made sense back in 1962 (the year before the Beatles) but hardly makes any sense at all now: after all, these are two of the best-looking and most sophisticated people in the world. But that's the plot - will she or won't she, and we know she won't. This is quintessential Day fluff, complete with quite unnecessary heavily gauzed close-ups, and Grant can barely disguise the fact that he's getting a little too long in the tooth for such foolishness. Nevertheless, it's still a lot of fun.

Cathy Timberlake is en route to a job interview when a car transporting businessman Philip Shayne covers her in mud. He sends his assistant, Roger, to apologize, but upon meeting Cathy, Roger knows that she would be a suitable match for his boss. Despite their mutual attraction, Cathy and Philip want different things. Philip wants a fling, while Cathy wants a marriage. As they travel to exotic locales, their differing motivations are put to the test.
