A grouchy old man has always been dismissive of his wife's role in the unconventional local choir. When she is diagnosed with a terminal illness and is no longer able to sing, he reluctantly agrees to take her place, a decision that dramatically changes his life and helps him through the hard times to come. Arthur is a grumpy pensioner who can't understand why his wife Marion would want to embarrass herself singing silly songs with her unconventional local choir.
