Chuck Norris is Colonel Braddock, an American soldier who was held illegally in a Vietnamese PoW camp for seven years after the war ended. Now he returns to Vietnam to prove that other Americans are still being held. When diplomatic means fail, Braddock arms himself and goes on a one-man commando mission to liberate the GIs. Stupid and simplistic, Missing in Action helped kick off the cycle of films in which Americans fought the Vietnam War again - only this time, they won. Lots of action and posturing by Norris.
