"One moment can change a life forever."

- Studio: Wild Bear Films
- Widescreen | Duration: 110 Mins

Overview:
Despite its title, this contemporary drama from Sharon Maguire, the director of Bridget Jones's Diary, falls disappointingly flat. Michelle Williams plays a young British mother struggling with the pressures of being married to a bomb disposal expert. When her husband and son are killed in a terrorist attack on a London football stadium her grief is mixed with guilt because, at the time of the blast, she was in bed with journalist Ewan McGregor. In the aftermath of this tragedy she decides to strike up a relationship with the young son of one of the dead suicide bombers. Despite a decent performance from Williams, this adaptation of Chris Cleave's 2005 novel fails to grip or move. The problem lies both with Maguire's direction, and a screenplay that fails to bring these characters, or their all-too-real dilemmas, to life.
