Despite the Florida settings and a plethora of bikinis, this is one of Elvis Presley's weaker vehicles and a sign that worse was to come. The King plays Rusty Wells, a rock 'n' roll musician doubling up as a chaperone for mobster's daughter Shelley Fabares. Presley displays his customary charm and gives those remarkable tonsils a real work-out on generally unworthy material, notably Puppet on a String and Do Not Disturb. There were better things in store for director Boris Sagal as he went on to make apocalyptic sci-fi drama The Omega Man.
