Overview:
An American pilot returns to Italy after the Second World War and tells a priest the story of his last mission. He reveals how he was shot down in German occupied territory, but received help from a band of Partisan guerillas who helped him to free a captive friend and escape back to their own lines. Drama, starring Sterling Hayden and J Carrol Naish.
