Overview:
The leader of a band of Russian freedom fighters rescues a dancer stranded behind Nazi lines - and once she is safe and sound, a deep affection grows between the girl and her saviour. Undistinguished World War Two adventure, starring Gregory Peck in his big-screen debut, with Tamara Toumanova, Alan Reed and Hugo Haas. First of five films shown on BBC Two this week in celebration of the centenary of director Jacques Tourneur's birth.
