This largely forgotten entry in a largely forgettable B-movie franchise has received a new lease of life thanks to the presence of one Leonardo DiCaprio in the cast. The Titanic hero reveals little star potential in this cheap and cheerful caper, which finds the man-eating space critters terrorising the city for the first time and laying siege to a tenement building. There are a few good gags, but ultimately this lacks the anarchic inspiration of the likes of Gremlins.
