A weather presenter's career comes to a spectacular end after an on-air rant about her unfaithful boyfriend. Finding no one else will employ her after the incident, she moves in with her brother to sort her life out, where a neighbour tries to show her there is more to life than fame and fortune. Succumbing to the stresses of her personal and professional lives, Sylvia, a Seattle morning show weather forecaster, has a meltdown live on-air. Now, unemployed, lacking career prospects, and with a mess of a romantic life, she moves in with her little brother.
