"When you know how to die, you know how to live."
- Director: Mick Jackson
- Genre: Drama, TV Movie
- Studio: Harpo Productions
- Duration: 120 Mins
|
Overview:
Thanks to Mick Jackson's sensitive handling and Theo van de Sande's nostalgically shot Boston vistas, this adaptation of Mitch Albom's memoir of his afternoons spent chewing the fat with his old college professor is an old-fashioned, heart-warming delight. Hank Azaria impresses as the workaholic sports writer who regains a sense of perspective through his visits to his dying mentor. But this is Jack Lemmon's show, as he dexterously portrays both Morrie Schwartz's physical decline and his zest for life.
