First came the Graboids, then the Shriekers. Now, amid the theme park razzmatazz that has grown up around the town of Perfection, Nevada, come the Ass Blasters - giant critters that can both fly and detect targets by sensing body heat. Worm-waster Michael Gross is just one of the citizens returning to protect their burgh from the new generation of mutant man-eaters and director Brent Maddock slips in the old faces with almost parodic glee. Newcomers Shawn Christian and Susan Chuang also prove their mettle. But while this provides passable post-pub entertainment, it's a little over-familiar if you're sober.
