Overview:
Eighteenth-century lothario Tom Jones is driven away by his adoptive family for his scandalous behaviour and heads for London to seek his fortune. The rogue embarks on an affair with a wealthy noblewoman, but finds himself pursued by a face from the past who is convinced Tom has also seduced his wife.
