There was the nanny from hell in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle and the lodger from hell in Pacific Heights now it's time to meet Satan's secretary in this lesser take on the same theme. Lara Flynn Boyle - best known for Wayne's World and Twin Peaks - stars as the shorthand expert who's ruthlessly making her way to the top no matter who stands in her way in this at times rather ludicrous thriller from Child's Play and Fright Night director Tom Holland. Unfortunately, this film is neither scary nor funny and serves only to embarrass a usually competent cast that includes Timothy Hutton, The A-Team's Dwight Schultz and Faye Dunaway.
