Overview:
This delightful animated feature from Disney marked a return to form by the studio after a lengthy spell of cartoon mediocrity. It follows an attempt by the all-mouse Rescue Aid Society to free a little girl held hostage by villainous Madam Medusa. Bob Newhart, Eva Gabor and Geraldine Page are among the voice artists in a well-told tale with memorable characters. The same characters appeared in a less successful sequel, The Rescuers Down Under.
