A village in the Ukraine is taken over by Nazi forces in the invasion of the Soviet Union during the Second World War. As the doctor in charge of the German forces begins rounding up the children for medical experiments, a group of men flees into the mountains to join a resistance group, while those left behind begin a campaign of sabotage.
