Young hero Bastian is once again transported into the magical world of Fantasia, where he must put a stop to the schemes of a wicked sorceress who now holds sway in the land. With the aid of a magical amulet, he is able to wield phenomenal power, but the witch sets a trap that threatens a calamitous future. Once again, Bastian is transported to the world of Fantasia which he recently managed to save from destruction. However, the land is now being destroyed by an evil sorceress, Xayide, so he must join up with Atreyu and face the Emptiness once more.
