Overview:
An inventor disillusioned with modern civilisation is convinced nuclear war is inevitable. He takes his family on a journey into the jungles of Central America, where he hopes to create his own utopian society. However, the pursuit of his dream drives him to the point of madness and tyranny. Peter Weir's drama based on Paul Theroux's novel, starring Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren and River Phoenix.
