Overview:
A screenwriter in 1950s America becomes disillusioned with Hollywood when he falls victim to the communist witch-hunts of the era, and heads out for a drive - but a car crash leaves him suffering from amnesia and stranded in a small town, where he's mistakenly identified as a Second World War hero.
