Noah Wyle (Dr John Carter from ER) stars in this far-fetched fantasy action adventure as a brilliant but shy graduate who ends up guarding the world's most precious relics at the New York Metropolitan Library. When two members of a secret organisation come looking for the Spear of Destiny, Wyle realises that his job has hidden dangers. Wyle puts in a competent performance as the threatened librarian in this made-for-TV imitation of Indiana Jones, and he's well supported by Olympia Dukakis (as his mother), Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin. Followed in 2006 by Return to King Solomon's Mines and in 2008 by The Curse of the Judas Chalice, also starring Wyle.
