Overview:
An autocratic movie producer in 1930s Hollywood is favoured by the studio heads, but loathed by executives and film-makers alike. When he falls for a mysterious Englishwoman, his enemies plot to exploit this weakness and bring about his downfall. Drama based on an unfinished F Scott Fitzgerald novel, starring Robert De Niro, Ingrid Boulting, Tony Curtis, Jack Nicholson and Robert Mitchum.
