This terrible comedy stars Will Arnett and Will Forte as John and Dean Solomon, a pair of socially inept but permanently cheerful brothers. After their dad (Lee Majors) slips into a coma, the siblings try to fulfil his wish for a grandchild, in the hope that it will aid his recovery. It's not an easy task: being raised in the Arctic has left them clueless about intercourse (social or otherwise), and so they employ a surrogate mother (Kristen Wiig). Veering between the moronic and the crass, this is a pitiful collection of gags about sperm banks, pregnancy and fatherhood. Neither Arnett nor Forte - veterans of TV's Arrested Development and Saturday Night Live, respectively - has the charisma to pull off the edgier moments, allowing a skit in which they naively stalk children in a playground to descend into outright creepiness. Lee Majors spends the movie in a coma. Lucky man.
