Tarzan and Jane's jungle idyll is disrupted by a party of ivory poachers searching for a legendary site where elephants are buried. Meanwhile, the expedition leader sets out to seduce Jane, and when she mistakenly believes Tarzan is dead, she is tempted to return to civilisation with the poachers.
