Neil Patrick Harris attempts to ditch his nice kid Doogie Howser, MD image in this intense and unsettling TV-movie drama, inevitably based on a true story. He is surprisingly convincing as one of three adopted children who fall under suspicion when their parents are murdered. There's a solid supporting cast, including Gregory Harrison and Lisa Banes, but Craig R Baxley's direction is unspectacular.
