A drifter is wrongly accused of committing a series of robberies and murders and thrown in jail. A sympathetic woman believes his version of events and sets him free, giving him the chance to prove his innocence by bringing the real culprits to justice. Bandits lead by Matt the Mute enter a bar and kill multiple people. Randy Bowers comes to town and is framed by Matt the Mute, who is working with the sheriff (who doesn't know Matt is really a criminal).
