"You don't have to go to Texas for a chainsaw massacre!"
- Director: Juan Piquer Simon
- Genre: Horror, Thriller, Mystery, Foreign
- Studio: Almena Films
- Duration: 100 Mins
Overview:
Real-life husband-and-wife team Christopher and Lynda Day George must rue the day they agreed to star in this twisted stalk-and-slash flick. George is a cop hunting down a psycho who chops up college girls for body parts to make a grotesque human jigsaw. ("You don't have to go to Texas for a chain saw massacre!" bragged the poster.) Is one really to take Spanish director Juan Piquer Simón's effort seriously, riddled as it is with goofs and inane dialogue? At one point the killer shares a lift with an intended victim while casually hiding a hulking great chain saw behind his back! A sick travesty hailing from the same producer responsible for the infamous Jayne Mansfield mock documentary that re-enacted the starlet's car crash and decapitation.
