"Hope Has A Way Of Shining Through"
- Director: Larry Elikann
- Genre: TV Movie, Drama
- Studio: Empty Chair Productions Inc.
- Duration: 120 Mins
|
Overview:
Given her impressive performance in the Billie Holliday biopic Lady Sings the Blues, it's surprising that soul diva Diana Ross hasn't appeared in more films. In this, her TV-movie debut, she gets the chance to shine in a powerful role as a schizophrenic woman who, after years of suffering, is coaxed back into society. Lindsay Crouse (House of Games) is the only other familiar face in the cast, but this is Ross's show and she makes the most of it, despite the rather bland direction of Larry Elikann.
