"The wild, untold story of OZploitation!"
- Director: Mark Hartley
- Genre: Documentary, Television, Art House & International,
- Studio: Magnolia Pictures
- Subtitled | Widescreen | Duration: 130 Mins
|
Overview:
Mark Hartley's documentary explores a little-known period in Australian cinematic history, often overlooked in the cannon of `important works'. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, innovative film-makers took advantage of relaxed censorship laws and pushed the boundaries of taste and decency to produce features including Snapshot and The Man from Hong Kong, which laid the foundations for future successes including Wolf Creek and Long Weekend.
