A journalist takes an injured man to hospital, where he dies of gunshot wounds. The dead man has left his possessions to the reporter, including a set of audio tapes telling his life story. The recordings reveal he was a notorious drug dealer, but had vowed to renounce crime. However, his decision came to nothing as he discovered he was unable to leave the past behind.
