Overview:
This enjoyably offbeat TV-movie thriller contains a wonderfully over-the-top performance from Joanna Kerns as a matchmaking mother who will stop at nothing to find Mr Right for her daughter (Christine Elise). However, when Elise falls for working-class Grant Show, Kerns resorts to taking drastic action. This is probably a lot funnier than director Larry Shaw ever really intended it to be.
