"The drug lords have the power, the money, the connections. They didn't count on McBain"
- Director: James Glickenhaus
- Genre: Drama, Action & Adventure, Mystery & Suspense,
- Studio: Marble Hall
- Duration: 130 Mins
|
Overview:
Rescued from prison on the day the Vietnam War ended, Christopher Walken's McBain vows to return the favour to his liberator, Santos. When Santos's sister (Maria Conchita Alonso) calls in the debt, McBain and other war veterans wash up in Colombia, fighting on the side of the peasants against the drug cartel-backed forces of El Presidente. Despite its violence, the movie is pitched as a sort of an updated send-up of The Magnificent Seven, while in other respects it resembles any old episode of TV's The A-Team. If the peasants don't look especially South American that is because the picture was made in the Philippines.
