This New Orleans-based thriller is a melodramatic though proficient puzzler, in which medical lawyer Stephanie Zimbalist goes up against her mentor, Michael Arata, to sue the hospital that recently suspended her seriously depressed husband (Markus Flanagan) for surgical negligence. The case itself is only mildly diverting, largely because of the padding that reduces the pace. But Zimbalist turns in a serviceable display of unfussy professionalism. The director is Monkees drummer Micky Dolenz.
