A doctor takes up a new position in a small frontier town, where a mysterious illness is afflicting the residents. The medic takes desperate measures to stop the infection spreading, but also has to convince suspicious townsfolk that a local orphanage is not the source of the disease. Belinda Simpson is now a doctor in a small Missouri town where an unknown plague is spreading fear and resentment amoung the townspeople.
