A palaeontologist, a game warden, a conspiracy theorist and a redneck sheriff each set out to investigate a mysterious death on the shore of a lake, only to find themselves up against a man-eating 30ft crocodile with an insatiable appetite. When a man is eaten alive by an unknown creature, the local Game Warden teams up with a paleontologist from New York to find the beast.
