"Swinging higher than the space needle with the gals and the songs at the famous Worlds Fair!"
- Director: Norman Taurog
- Genre: Action & Adventure, Musical & Performing Arts, Classics,
- Studio: Ted Richmond Productions
- Duration: 125 Mins
|
Overview:
This lightweight but enjoyable Elvis film was made in the wake of Blue Hawaii's box-office tidal wave. Here Elvis gets involved with a Chinese child, romances nurse Joan O'Brien and gets kicked in the shins by little Kurt Russell, who would grow up to portray Elvis himself on screen in the biopic Elvis - the Movie. And all this against the colourful background of the Seattle World's Fair. Elvis's big song from this film, One Broken Heart for Sale, was one of the few Presley singles not to reach the top ten - although the talent was still strong, the fans weren't buying.
