This CIA TV drama is written by Roger Towne (brother of Robert), who writes a pacy actioner, and is helped by a cast that includes Tom Berenger, Ron Silver, Clancy Brown and Alice Krige. Berenger is a retired CIA agent (who now runs a restaurant, of course), who is brought back in by his old boss (Silver) to rescue an agent with important information who has been captured in North Korea. Well-researched and swift-moving, the script so pleased the real CIA that they allowed film-makers to use their headquarters in Langley, Virginia, as a location.

An operative for the CIA is captured and interrogated by Korean officials; his bosses, in order to protect national security, decide to bring an old operative out of retirement to retrieve both the agent and the vital information in his possession.
