Computer nerd Steve Levitt makes a pact with Devil's emissary Deborah Shelton (of TV's Dallas fame) so he can become a beach bum with pecs appeal in this intermittently charming comedy fantasy that effectively expands on the maxim "beauty's only skin deep". The result is a pleasant enough time-waster, with gorgeous bodies of both sexes to ogle at, and James Coco puts in a fine turn as a time-travelling Satan with a neat line in amusing historical references.

A "devilish" tale about an ordinary guy who is visited by a beautiful apparition promising him popularity and drop-dead good looks in exchange for his soul. Transformed overnight into a "hunk," he soon discovers there may be hell to pay for his new lifestyle!
