Derived from the popular TV series, this feature-length version is a bit rough round the animated edges, but regular viewers will enjoy seeing their favourite characters up on the big screen and adults will appreciate the civics lesson doled out to the unsuspecting little ones. Arnold (voiced by Spencer Klein) is not the most attractive of cartoon heroes, with a head shaped like an elongated rugby ball and bushy hair parted like the Red Sea. However, his heart is in the right place and when he learns that a greedy land developer called Sheck is about to bulldoze his downtown neighbourhood, he determines to save it, with the help of best friend Gerald (Jamil Walker Smith) and love/hate interest Helga (Francesca Marie Smith).

Arnold and his friends must recover a stolen document in order to prevent the neighborhood from being bulldozed.
