A youngster discovers his faithful pooch Hubble is actually a secret agent sent from the Dog Star Sirius to ensure canines have fulfilled their destiny by taking over the world. If not, dogs will be expelled from the planet - so Hubble helps the boy bring the neighbourhood mutts up to scratch before his alien leader lands on Earth to assess the situation.
