This TV-movie thriller takes a rather melodramatic look at the torment endured by victims of stalkers and their families. Brooke Langton is the student who becomes the object of college tutor Jere Burns's unwanted attentions, while Joanna Cassidy plays Langton's mother, a judge, who tries to remain within the law while protecting her daughter. As the obsessive stalker, Burns is made to look evil rather than disturbed, and, regrettably, the movie's slant on events trivialises an important issue.
