"When the curtain goes up, the terror begins."

- Director: Michael Gornick
- Genre: Horror, Comedy
- Studio: New World Pictures
- Duration: 105 Mins
Overview:
Penny-dreadful in every respect, this three-part anthology is one of the worst vehicles off the Stephen King production line. A comic-crazed kid opens the latest issue of Creepshow and delves into tales concerning a murderous cigar store Indian, a killer oil slick and a zombie hitch-hiker. If the sight of four students menaced by a plastic bin liner doesn't reduce you to helpless laughter, then former glamour queen Dorothy Lamour acting more wooden than her Indian mannequin will. Scripted by George Romero with a distinct lack of originality, and directed by Michael Gornick with awesome predictability, this slapdash dud is devoid of any imagination and isn't redeemed by the animated inserts.
