During the early 1990s, Richard Grieco was being groomed for stardom following his success in Teen Agent, while Michele Greene was looking to capitalise on the success of her role in LA Law. However, the breaks simply never came for either of them and by the late 1990s they found themselves headlining this substandard thriller, based on the true-life ordeal of a wealthy family from Oregon. It's suspense-by-numbers, but Grieco is credible enough as the drug-addled advertising executive who is conned by a co-worker into kidnapping his boss's son, only to discover he's become part of a much grander and potentially deadly conspiracy.
