This martial arts comedy from the producers of no-brainer classic Dumb and Dumber was a box-office number one in the States and features one of the last performances of chubby comic Chris Farley. He plays an American baby who washes up on the shores of Japan and is brought up by a clan of martial arts masters. Now Haru (Farley), a willing but clumsy pupil, must journey with a skilled sidekick (Robin Shou) to the "Hills of Beverly" to rescue a beautiful American girl from yakuza counterfeiters. The slapstick may appeal to undemanding viewers.
