A model Asian-American high-school student expecting a prestigious job on graduation rethinks his options when a fellow pupil approaches him with a proposal to sell cheat sheets to classmates, making him realise he has the brains to start making money straight away. Before long they join up with a team of petty criminals, but as they grow more corrupt they begin to wonder whether they will ever escape the underworld they have come to inhabit.
