Overview:
A 10-year-old girl moves to a sleepy Florida town, where she befriends a stray dog. With her new canine companion by her side, the youngster meets a host of colourful local characters who help her come to terms with her mother's death and rebuild her relationship with her father. Family drama, based on a children's book written by Kate DiCamillo, with AnnaSophia Robb, Jeff Daniels and Cicely Tyson.
