In this easy-going Christmas romantic comedy, 13-year-old Kelli Williams receives a glass globe from Santa (Charles Durning) along with a promise that the boy of her dreams will turn up within 20 years. Flash forward and Williams is now a successful lawyer in her 30s, and she's given up waiting. But, just as she seems ready to say yes to former high-school hunk Bruce Thomas, she meets Patrick Muldoon, an attorney whose well-intentioned deception threatens to ruin Santa's carefully laid plans. Brightly played and breezily directed by Kevin Connor, this is a pleasant way to pass the time.
